Created in 2005, PUSH features four works by Russell Maliphant: Solo, performed by Guillem to atmospheric flamenco music; Shift, Maliphant's signature solo; Two, a dazzling solo which seems to traps Guillem in a box of light; and Push, a duet which combines the abilities of this extraordinary partnership.

The works are complemented by Michael Hulls' stunning and inventive lighting and accompanied by music from Antony Cowton, Carlos Montoya and Shirley Thompson.

Since its debut, PUSH has been honored with four major awards: the Laurence Olivier Awards for Best New Dance, a Time Out Award for Guillem’s performance in Solo, Best Choreography (Modern) for Maliphant at the National Dance Awards and the South Bank Show Dance Award.

PUSH is currently touring internationally, under the banner of Sadler’s Wells. Since 2006, PUSH has be seen at Theater Heilbronn, Heilbronn, Germany; Athens Festival, Greece; Le Métropole, Lausanne, Switzerland; City Center, New York, USA; Teatro Comunale, Modena, Italy; Opera de Lyon, Lyon, France; Theater Champs-Elysées, Paris, France; Odyssud Theatre, Toulouse, France; Teatro Arcimboldi, Milan, Italy; Auditorium Conciliazione di Roma, Rome, Italy; Teatro Real, Madrid, Spain; Teatro alla Fenice, Venice, Italy and Teatro San Carlo, Naples, Italy amongst others.
